Privacy

Synastry is owned and run by Elda Kalaj, and built by AlbaTech Services LLC in Birmingham, Michigan. Elda Kalaj is responsible for your data. Email hello@eldakalaj.com with any privacy question or to get a copy of your data.

• Your email and password. We don't keep the password itself; our sign-in provider stores only a scrambled version of it.
• Your profile: name, gender, who you're looking for, the city you live in, an optional bio, and how matches can reach you.
• Up to four photos. We re-save each one before storing it, which strips the location and camera details phones hide inside photo files.
• Your birth date, birth time and birth timezone, which we use to work out your Moon sign and nakshatra.
• Who you like, pass on, block or report, and what you write in a report.

Other members see your approved photos, name, age, city, bio and Moon sign, plus how compatible the two of you are. They never see your birth date, birth time, birth timezone or email.

The Synastry team looks at each new photo before anyone else can see it. Your contact handle only shows once you've both liked each other. Who you're looking for can reveal your sexual orientation, so it's never shown on your profile. We only use it to decide who you see and who sees you.

We use your data to run Synastry: to score compatibility, pick your daily matches, show contacts to mutual matches and review photos and reports. We don't sell it or share it with advertisers, and there are no analytics or ad trackers. The only cookies are the ones that keep you signed in.

Member data lives in a Supabase database on servers in the eastern United States, and the site runs on Vercel. Photos sit in private storage, and pages show them through links that stop working after an hour. AlbaTech Services LLC set this up and maintains it for Synastry. Supabase, Vercel and AlbaTech Services LLC only use your data to run Synastry.

Go to Account and choose Delete my account. That erases your profile, photos, birth details, likes, passes and blocks right away.

Reports stay on record with your account removed from them, so we can still act on a safety problem. Copies of deleted data can stay in database backups for a short time before they're overwritten.

Synastry is only for adults 18 and over. If we learn someone under 18 has an account, we delete it.

When this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
